Meet John Wesenberg, M.S., BCBA, LBA Co-Founder and Clinical Director at Kinship Behavioral Health and Support. With over 15 years of experience in the behavioral science field, John has helped children as young as 18-months to adults as old as 65. In Minnesota, John started working in clinics teaching vocational and other supportive services to adults with mental health and behavioral disorders. John moved to Colorado Springs, CO to work with military families of autistic children. He became a Board-Certified assistant Behavior Analyst in 2011 while providing applied behavioral analytic services in clinics and the homes of children and teens. He also supported families in the school setting becoming fluent in individualized education plans and 504 plans.
In 2013, John was accepted into the Master of Science program in Applied Behavior Analysis at St. Cloud State University, MN. There he was a graduate assistant teaching undergraduate courses in behavior analysis and tutoring undergraduate students in behavior analysis. He also was a graduate research assistant studying gambling behavior, choice behavior, self-injurious behavior and other social issues of behavior. He completed his practicum and internship in the Elk River school district. He frequently attended IEP meetings and worked collaboratively with teachers and other school professionals to best support families.
In 2015, John moved back to Colorado to work with military families where he helped grow a small family-owned ABA therapy company during his 5 years with the team. When the pandemic hit, Andrea moved to Texas to be with family and John followed shortly after getting a job in a pediatric therapy clinic providing ABA services to children with ASD. In 2021, John began working at a higher-level care treatment center for anxiety related disorders and obsessive-compulsive related disorders (OCD). He became Director of Operations and then the Clinical Director. There, John gained valuable training in exposure and response prevention and found his passion serving those struggling with anxiety-related disorders and OCD.
As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Texas, John has extensive training in evidence-based treatments and working as a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with families and other caregivers. He utilizes evidence-based techniques, including Applied Behavior Analysis, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioral Activation, Clinical Behavior Analysis. John is dedicated to advancing the field of behavior analysis through ongoing education, collaboration of care with other professionals and disseminating behavioral sciences in the community. He has presented at state and national conferences on topics such as functional behavior assessment, safety training, parent training, fear and anxiety, and anxiety related disorders.
In his free time, John enjoys being active and laughing with his growing family, being outdoors mountain biking, camping, fishing and exploring Texas State Parks. John enjoys standup comedy, live concerts, attending sporting events and taking trips to Colorado to visit friends doing all the outdoors activities.

Meet Andrea Wesenberg, M.S., BCBA, LBA, Co-Founder and CEO. Andrea has worked with children and teenagers for over 13 years in both education and behavior services. She began working with students as a tutor, teaching math and reading skills. In 2012 Andrea began her education career teaching preschool children from 4 to 5 years old. After teaching preschool, Andrea worked as a special education teacher in a junior high school. During this time, Andrea learned how to write Individualized Education Plans and 504 plans, participated in IEP Meetings and Admission, Review and Dismissal Boards, and assisted in training and administering IEP accommodations in the classroom. In 2017, Andrea moved to Colorado and began working in the field of behavior analysis with military families. During this time, Andrea became a Registered Behavior Technician and worked with autistic children in clinics, at home and in the community.
In 2020, Andrea moved back home to Texas and was accepted into an online graduate program at Capella University. While attending online classes, Andrea continued to work with children diagnosed with ASD in Texas. She collaborated with other disciplines, such as Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Music Therapists. In December of 2021, Andrea graduated with a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and in May of 2022 Andrea became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
As a BCBA, Andrea has worked with children from the ages of two to 13 with Autism, ADD, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities. She specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis, Compassionate Care, parent and family training, and advocating for children in the school and community. Andrea has a passion to help children learn and succeed in daily life.
When not working, Andrea loves playing in and exploring new places in the outdoors with her family, traveling to the mountains and beaches to see friends. She enjoys reading, crafting and being creative and can always be found laughing and enjoying life.
