FREE 30-minute virtual consultation with an owner of Kinship BHS. If you or a loved one are a good fit for services, we’ll schedule your personalized intake or therapy session. At times, the free 30-minute consultation is all that is required to start services.
Kinship BHS will provide referrals if our services are not appropriate or if another provider would be a better fit.
After consultation, 75-minute Initial Intake and Assessment
Initial assessments are done via Zoom or in-person.
Kinship BHS will complete a functional assessment that includes an interview and questionnaire with the client and their family, review of client records, direct observation, time building rapport and questions about your goals and values. Our goal is to determine how we can best support you or a loved one in their journey in life.
Care Plan
We will discuss the type of behavior therapy that best fits your needs and schedule services (length and frequency of services, payments, online or in-person, etc.) and answer any questions you may have.
Let's work as a team to get you or your loved one to live their most meaningful life!
We offer affordable services to best meet you or your family’s needs. The fee for sessions is on a sliding scale based on income and type of support your or your family needs. Discuss during your consultation to determine eligibility for discounted rates.
Sessions are $100-$225 based on intensity and length of services recommended by either John or Andrea.
We want you to get the help you deserve through person-centered, evidence-based care.

By not accepting insurance, not having an office space, and our rates for therapy allows us to have a smaller caseload to best focus our attention on the client and their care. We are not bogged down with insurance paperwork, phone calls and emails to insurance panels which allows us to spend 100% of our time on therapeutic care and support.
Good Faith Estimate
In compliance with the NO Surprises ACT (1/1/2022) healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their Federal rights and protection against “Surprise Billing.” We are required to provide prospective clients who do not have health insurance (or who are not using insurance) an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
In addition:
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, please visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the No Surprises Help Dest at 800-985-3059
Kinship BHS will provide referrals if our services are not appropriate or if another provider would be a better fit. We do our best to nurture healthy, effective, lasting change and if it means referring you to a more appropriate provider, that would be our pleasure.
